Preparation for our great adventure

We are getting ready for the greatest adventure of our lives. Ron decided last March that he wanted to go to someplace near the equator in January 2012. After talking to some of our neighbors who travel often, we decided on a trip to the Panama Canal. Ron contacted a friend of ours who is a travel agent. She came over to our house and discussed some options with us. Thus, began the plans for our trip. From that point forward Ron has had so much fun planning the side trips and particulars of the trip. For the last few weeks we have been packing and preparing for our great adventure. We will be visiting several islands in the Caribbean along the way to and from the canal. Ron has planned many side trips and activities. We want to share our adventure along the way with our friends and family with postings and pictures. So follow along for a vicarious adventure!
